Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM110A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM110A data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher FAM110A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM110A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, BRCA, and KICH are the cancer types where FAM110A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
