Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAHD2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAHD2B data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FAHD2B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAHD2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LIHC, and COAD are the cancer types where FAHD2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
