Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAHD2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAHD2A data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher FAHD2A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAHD2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, LIHC, and BRCA are the cancer types where FAHD2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
