Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAF1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher FAF1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.

DLBC, SKCM, and SARC are the cancer types where FAF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
