Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FABP5P15 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of FABP5P15’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where FABP5P15 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types FABP5P15 is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD are the cancer types where FABP5P15 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
