Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EYS RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated EYS data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher EYS RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EYS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and KIRC show a favorable association.
SCLC, KIRP, and ACC are the cancer types where EYS RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
