Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EYA2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EYA2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher EYA2 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EYA2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and GBM show a favorable association.
UCEC, GBM, and LSCC are the cancer types where EYA2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
