Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EXTL3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EXTL3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher EXTL3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EXTL3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, LIHC, and PRAD are the cancer types where EXTL3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
