Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EXTL2P1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated EXTL2P1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher EXTL2P1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EXTL2P1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and MESO show a favorable association.
KIRC, LIHC, and STAD are the cancer types where EXTL2P1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
