Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EXOSC4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EXOSC4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher EXOSC4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EXOSC4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
READ and BLCA are the cancer types where EXOSC4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
