Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EVL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EVL data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher EVL Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EVL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
MESO, LGG, and UCEC are the cancer types where EVL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
