Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ETV7 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ETV7 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher ETV7 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ETV7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and BLCA show a favorable association.
SKCM, BLCA, and UVM are the cancer types where ETV7 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
