Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ETFA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ETFA data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher ETFA Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ETFA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KICH, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where ETFA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
