Across TCGA patient cohorts, ESR2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 21 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible ESR2-associated genes across cancer lineages are XBP1, Notch1, and STAT3_pY705. Each is linked with ESR2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ESR2-to-partner and partner-to-ESR2 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, XBP1 grouped by ESR2-low versus ESR2-high in SKCM.
