Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ERVE-1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ERVE-1 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ERVE-1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ERVE-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

UCEC are the cancer types where ERVE-1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
