Across TCGA cell cohorts, ERN1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,253 significant associations in total. UPPER_AERODIGESTIVE_TRACT shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ERN1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of endoplasmic reticulum unfolded protein response, mRNA splicing, via endonucleolytic cleavage and ligation, and Response to endoplasmic reticulum stress. Each is linked with ERN1 in more than 13 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ERN1-to-partner and partner-to-ERN1 results are reported.
