Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ERCC6L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ERCC6L data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ERCC6L Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ERCC6L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ERCC6L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
