Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EPYC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EPYC data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher EPYC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EPYC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.
STAD, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where EPYC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
