Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EPM2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EPM2A data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher EPM2A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EPM2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD and LUSC are the cancer types where EPM2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
