Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EPB41L4A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EPB41L4A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher EPB41L4A Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EPB41L4A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, KIRP, and CHOL are the cancer types where EPB41L4A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
