Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EOMES Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EOMES data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher EOMES Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EOMES expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, COAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where EOMES Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
