Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ENC1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ENC1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher ENC1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ENC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where ENC1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
