Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EMILIN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EMILIN1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher EMILIN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EMILIN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THYM, BLCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where EMILIN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
