Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ELP5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ELP5 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher ELP5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ELP5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and PAAD show a favorable association.
ACC, KICH, and BRCA are the cancer types where ELP5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
