Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ELK3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ELK3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ELK3 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ELK3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, HNSC, and READ are the cancer types where ELK3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
