Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ELFN1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ELFN1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ELFN1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ELFN1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and BLCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, UVM, and COAD are the cancer types where ELFN1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
