Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ELF2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ELF2 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ELF2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ELF2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where ELF2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
