Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ELANE Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ELANE data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher ELANE Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ELANE expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, BLCA, and ESCA are the cancer types where ELANE Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
