Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EIF4ENIF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EIF4ENIF1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher EIF4ENIF1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EIF4ENIF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUSC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LIHC, and KICH are the cancer types where EIF4ENIF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
