Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EIF4EBP3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated EIF4EBP3 data layer compared with 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher EIF4EBP3 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EIF4EBP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and HNSC show a favorable association.

ACC, HNSC, and UVM are the cancer types where EIF4EBP3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
