Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EIF4EBP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EIF4EBP2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher EIF4EBP2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EIF4EBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, STAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where EIF4EBP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
