Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EIF4E2P1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated EIF4E2P1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher EIF4E2P1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EIF4E2P1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.
HNSC, ESCA, and KIRP are the cancer types where EIF4E2P1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
