Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EIF2S2P5 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of EIF2S2P5’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where EIF2S2P5 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types EIF2S2P5 is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD, COAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where EIF2S2P5 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
