EIF2S2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, EIF2S2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 593 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible EIF2S2-associated genes across cancer lineages are FERMT3, TIRAP, and C11orf53. Each is linked with EIF2S2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both EIF2S2-to-partner and partner-to-EIF2S2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, FERMT3 grouped by EIF2S2-low versus EIF2S2-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (EIF2S2→partner) and Y-score (partner→EIF2S2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
