Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EIF1AD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EIF1AD data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher EIF1AD Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EIF1AD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC are the cancer types where EIF1AD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
