Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EID2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EID2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher EID2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EID2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where EID2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
