Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EGLN2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EGLN2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher EGLN2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EGLN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and BLCA show a favorable association.
OV, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where EGLN2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
