Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EGFL7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EGFL7 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher EGFL7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EGFL7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where EGFL7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
