Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EFHD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EFHD2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher EFHD2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EFHD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and PRAD are the cancer types where EFHD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
