Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EFHD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EFHD1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher EFHD1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EFHD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA are the cancer types where EFHD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
