Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EFCAB1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EFCAB1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher EFCAB1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EFCAB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, LUAD, and STAD are the cancer types where EFCAB1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
