Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EEF1E1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EEF1E1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher EEF1E1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EEF1E1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and OV show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUAD, and OV are the cancer types where EEF1E1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
