Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EEF1B2P4 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of EEF1B2P4’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where EEF1B2P4 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types EEF1B2P4 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as PAAD and LIHC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KICH, PAAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where EEF1B2P4 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
