Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EEF1A1P37 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of EEF1A1P37’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where EEF1A1P37 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types EEF1A1P37 is over-expressed in tumor.
UCEC are the cancer types where EEF1A1P37 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
