Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EEF1A1P32 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of EEF1A1P32’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where EEF1A1P32 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types EEF1A1P32 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as STAD and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
HNSC, KICH, and COAD are the cancer types where EEF1A1P32 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
