Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EDDM3B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EDDM3B data layer compared with 13 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher EDDM3B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EDDM3B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LGG, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where EDDM3B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
