Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EAF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EAF1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher EAF1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EAF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where EAF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
