Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, E2F5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated E2F5 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher E2F5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated E2F5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, COAD, and LGG are the cancer types where E2F5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
