Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, E2F2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated E2F2 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher E2F2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated E2F2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, SARC, and LGG are the cancer types where E2F2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
