Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DYNC1H1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DYNC1H1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher DYNC1H1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DYNC1H1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LUAD, and GBM are the cancer types where DYNC1H1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
